“I was deeply saddened to learn that H H Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, one of the principal upholders of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, had suddenly and unexpectedly dissolved into dharmadhatu. We should all pray for the swift rebirth of his reincarnation to continue his vast enlightened activities for the benefit of the doctrine and all sentient beings. Yesterday evening I offered many butter lamps and prayers here in Ipoh, Malaysia together with our sangha, making strong and fervent aspirations for HH Kunzig Sharma Rinpoche’s swift  rebirth.”
